Luxury Unlocked – A Holiday Gift Guide from Austin Agents Who Know Luxury

Finding the perfect gift, one that will be cherished and appreciated, is like an art form. In short, it’s no easy feat. So as the 2017 holidays approach and the countdown to Christmas begins, we gathered our agents to find out their recommendations for the quintessential luxury gift.

We recently gifted a Jonathan Adler Jacques Tray. This is a gorgeous piece. It’s generously sized to perfectly organize your ottoman or cocktail table items. This is a very modern, yet traditional piece made from delicate Lucite and is available with brass or smoke-colored trim. A great table-piece that will catch the eyes of all of your guests. It’s the perfect gift for those who love to entertain!

Nice sunglasses are a great gift. Everybody likes them, but some people feel guilty paying for them. This is a welcome luxury for those people who “could, but never would” buy these for themselves.

In my mind, there are a few gifts that can’t be beat. From tumblers to ice chests, koozies and more, YETI has the gift for the fishing fanatic, barbecue enthusiast or coffee lover in everyone’s life. Seasons tickets to the Zach Theatre or the Long Center are ideal for those who enjoy live entertainment and embracing local talent and art. Last but not least, a Bluetooth tag such as the Beagle 2.0 or Tile are wonderful because they help people keep track of their wallet, keys, dog, phone, etc.

One that we love to give is either a whole day with meals included or a 1/2 day with lunch at The Lake Austin Spa Resort. It’s one of the top spas in the country and offers a beautiful setting. All of our clients have loved it and felt so pampered. It’s a gift that most people don’t buy for themselves.

Truly, it depends on the client. I have given YETI soft coolers for clients that have bought lakefront property. I love this gift for them because they are able to take and use it on the boat. I have also been known to add the beer koozies with their names on it. It makes it personal and shows you have put some thought into it.

One of my favorites gifts is monogrammed towels. What a great way to move into a new place! I will pick either white or off-white and do their initials in the same color. It looks elegant and is a nice touch in their new house. If there are children, I will get a towel with each of their names on it. If I can find out their favorite color, I will monogram their name in that color. Otherwise, I will do blue for boys and pink for girls. Again, they know that you have thought about them ahead of time. Do not skimp on the quality of the towel as hopefully, they will use it every day and think of you. If it feels cheap-that is how they will think of you too!

Anything from Tiffany’s is a treat to give and receive! After all… the Tiffany blue box says it all!

Drinking wine or champagne at the perfect temperature is such an enjoyable experience. VINGLACÉ  allows you to do just that whenever you want and wherever you are, from the first to last pour. Not to mention that every product donates 5% of the proceeds to breast cancer research.
