Jordan: What drew you to real estate in the first place?

Spero: My passion for entrepreneurship, creating my own businesses, and helping others launch and grow their businesses inspired my real estate career. With years of experience in hotel management and pastoral service, I thrive on helping people and finding solutions to complex challenges.

Jordan: What’s your favorite way to spend a weekend?

Spero: I love hanging out with friends, trying new restaurants, church on Sunday, catching football games with my wife and son (go Broncos!), and sneaking in a little travel whenever we can.

Jordan: Can you recommend a must-try local restaurant or dish in Austin?

Spero: Try any of the handmade pasta dishes at Red Ash downtown—they’re consistently rated among the best Italian in Austin and perfect for a special night out. For something more casual, the fish tacos at Ma’Coco are a local favorite, especially during happy hour. Both spots offer memorable flavors and a true taste of Austin’s food scene.

Jordan: Can’t leave the house without...?

Spero: My large Yeti filled with iced coffee (oat milk and sugar-free vanilla) or Diet HEB cola. Gotta love HEB.

Jordan: Morning routine – what’s yours like?

Spero: I call it my “First Hour,” which includes Bible reading, prayer, and exercise. After that breakfast. This keeps me feeling focused, refreshed, and ready for whatever comes next.

Jordan: What uniquely Austin event or tradition do you look forward to most every year?

Spero: F1 weekend at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin—cheering for Team Ferrari is a highlight.

Jordan: What is your favorite neighborhood in Austin?

Spero: Belterra off 290 is my home, and it truly feels like a sanctuary.  Beautiful scenery, excellent amenities, ponds, and walking trails that create a sense of security and connection to nature. Just driving in is calming and feels like it lowers your blood pressure.

Jordan: Favorite way to unwind after a busy workday?

Spero: Settling down to watch a favorite show with family and then relaxing in the hot tub later in the evening before bed.
