Jordan: What does it mean

to you to be a luxury agent? Sammy: To be a luxury agent it means paying attention to detail and providing services at a very elevated level. That entails a lot of care, a lot of sincerity and a lot of knowledge.

Jordan: What is your favorite neighborhood in Austin?

Sammy: My favorite neighborhood in Austin is probably anywhere north of Oltorf and within the 78704 area. I go to Soho House a lot, and I also love Tacodeli and Barton Springs Pool. I love going to Sukha Yoga, so I’m pretty much always around that area.

Jordan: What does a perfect weekend in your life look like?

Sammy: A perfect weekend definitely starts with yoga at Sukha Yoga, followed by taking my dog, Happy, to the Hike and Bike Trail or going paddle boarding on Town Lake. I’d love to end the day with my friends, having a barbecue—

I love cooking for them.

Jordan: How did you start

your career in real estate?

Sammy: So, I was in New York City pursuing acting, actually, and I have the equivalent of an MFA in acting. After graduation, I started working for a title company, which eventually led to a position as an assistant for a commercial broker in Midtown. I did that for a year and learned a lot. From there, I became an independent agent and moved to Austin in 2016.
