Discover Rosedale: A Charming Blend of Historic Charm, Green Spaces, and Culinary Delights

Rosedale is one of the city's most historic neighborhoods, featuring a cozy, densely packed community with lush trees and vibrant, renovated cottages and bungalows. Not unlike its surrounding neighborhoods of Crestview, Allandale and Brykerwoods, Rosedale hosts brag-worthy parks that offer playgrounds, picnic areas and tennis courts.

Rosedale isn’t just for nature lovers, but is a haven for foodies and shoppers alike. With a superb blend of both upscale and casual dining options, the neighborhood has something for everyone. For those who love to shop, Rosedale is home to an eclectic mix of small boutique stores, such as South Congress Book Store, as well as well-known shops like Kendra Scott.

Highlights

The history of the Rosedale neighborhood dates back to the 1860s when it was primarily farmland and dairy land. By the early 1900s, four florists and nurseries had established themselves in the area. Many of the trees and plants they introduced can still be seen today, contributing to the neighborhood's charm.
